What is Jazmine?

Jazmine is an online platform for your whole family.  It helps you manage the ever growing data and information about each family member separately and together for the family unit.

You and anyone with permission can access the information to fill out forms at the doctor’s office, be alerted before an item expires, share information with siblings or parents for emergency purposes and keep your information current.

How did the idea come about?

Jasmine’s mother was admitted to the emergency room.  When she arrived there, she had no information about her mother’s medications, conditions or legal and medical wishes.  Over the course of several years, Jasmine spoke with many families and realized that family information is spread around, inconsistent among family members and inaccessible when needed.

How do I keep my information updated?

Jazmine makes it easy for you to keep important personal records, data and documents up to date. You can choose to enter everything at once, complete sections or go at your own pace. You can quickly and easily enter personal and family data in all major life categories, such as Legal, Personal, Finance, Real Estate and more. Via our handy “Alerts” feature, we keep track of when it’s time to update information and alert you to renew your passport, make an appointment for your annual checkup or update your insurance policy.

What is FastPath?

FastPath is our way to get you online quickly and easily.  You enter some basic data, get your family members set up and off you go!  Once you finish FastPath, Jazmine will present you with a Dashboard of categories.

Why does each family member need a separate login and password?

Each family member who accesses the account needs their own login and password.  This is to ensure that each member can only access areas to which they have permission.  For example, you may not want to give permission to your medical information to your children. This is also to provide you with analytics so you can see what was updated, when and by whom.

Why does each advisor, professional or non-family member need a separate login and password?

This is to ensure that each invitee can only access areas to which they have permission.  For example, you may not want to give permission to your medical information to your accountant.

This is also to provide you with analytics so you can see what was updated, when and by whom.
Advisors, professionals and other individuals whom you invite can set up free accounts to view and upload documents on your behalf.

What if I didn’t get a confirmation or alert email?

Confirmation emails are sent out immediately after you click on the Submit button.  If you haven’t received yours in a few minutes, please check your spam folder.

How do I change or reset my password?

You can change your password by pressing the Login link on the top right side of the home page and then clicking the Reset Password button.  You will need your email address.

What do I do if I forget my family account password or my personal password?

You can change your password by pressing the Login link on the top right side of the home page and then clicking the Reset Password button.  You will need your email address.

How do I switch account members?

Each account allows you to set up separate profiles for each of your family members, including spouse and children. You can toggle between each family member’s profiles and complete FastPath personal data for each individual. Permission to access individual profiles can be set up for each family member.

Why do you recommend separate accounts for my parents and grandparents?

You can add parents and grandparents to an existing account just as you would add a spouse or child. However, we recommend separate accounts for members outside your immediate family. This will make it easier for you to create reports that are specific for each family.  Reports such as emergency contacts, family net worth and so on.  It will also be easier to search your family database when you looking for specific information.

How do I make a suggestion for a feature or functionality I wish you had?

Privacy & Security

What kind of security do you use?

Security of your important and sensitive information is of paramount importance to us.  We value your trust and we take it very seriously.

Jazmine was founded by a technology executive with over 20 years of experience in running operations and technology departments at several major organizations.

All data saved in Jazmine is encrypted and protected using the same industry-leading technology that major banks worldwide use. We use 2048-bit SSL encryption for all communications and AES-256 encrypted data storage with uniquely derived keys for each user.

What does “bank level security” mean?

Bank-level security means that all personal information is encrypted and protected using the same industry-leading technology that banks use.

We need you to do your part

Security of your information also depends on you.  Strong passwords are a must.  We help you by indicating whether the password you have chosen can be guessed easily.  A strong password includes Capitals, Numbers and Punctuation marks.  The longer the password the better too!

Do not share your password with anyone.  We recommend you invite someone and share categories with those you trust via the invite feature of Jazmine.

How do you value my private information?

Jazmine is committed to the protection of your privacy. We understand keeping your information secure and confidential is critical to earning and keeping your trust.

We do not rent, sell or trade your personal information to anyone.  Ever.

Our Privacy & Security Policy establishes the specific policies and procedures we use to collect, utilize, and disclose user and/or client information provided to us through the use of our web sites, applications or other communications or with our customer service or other representatives, collectively referred to as (“Personal Data Reference Inc” or “PDR” or “we” or “us”). What steps do you take to monitor security?

Our hosting and operational environments (including private keys) are severely restricted.  We regularly audit our environments and code for security issues and take swift action. We use commercial services that regularly check our site (including McAfee Secure) and we have security experts who audit and continuously monitor the site.

How does a family member or executor get access to my information?

You can give authorized persons the ability to access your entire account or certain categories.  Each individual can only retrieve personal data in categories that you have explicitly given them permission. You can update, add or remove permissions at any time in your MyJazmine menu on the left.

When someone makes a request, we have strict procedures to verify their identity.  If it is an emergency request, in addition to identity documents, we may require Certified Certificate of Death, Certified Power of Attorney or Executor documents.

Should you or a family member or authorized person require access, please contact us through our customer service number or email.

Do you send me emails?

Alerts are a key feature of Jazmine.  You will get alerts when you change your email or password, invite someone to access your account, when items expire or appointments are scheduled, and if there are changes in law that impact you and your family.  Such changes in law may be something such as “All infants need passports to travel internationally” or “State of Florida has changed the Power of Attorney requirements. Please update your documents.”

Separately, with your permission, we send you helpful weekly emails with tips and articles about topics such as “Transfer on Death” forms or Sea vs. General Passports, etc.

Do you do any planning? If so, what kind?

If you need help getting started on your will, estate plan and/or financial plan, Jazmine offers tips, templates and resources within each relevant category.  For estate planner referrals, visit the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils. How can I get started right away?

Select your account type and you could be underway in just a couple of minutes. This service is designed to be fast and easy to use, with a dashboard, clear instruction and everything you need in one place.

What payment information do you keep?

We use Authorize.net to handle all payment processing, the industry leader when it comes to payment processing and information security.  We do not store your credit card information.

What is your refund policy?

Our refund policy is simple: If you’re ever unhappy with Jazmine, for any reason, just drop us an email at support@jazmine.com and we’ll take care of you.

We can provide full refunds in some cases:

  • If you were just charged for your next month of Jazmine, but you meant to cancel, we’re happy to refund that extra charge.
  • If you forgot to cancel Jazmine last month and you haven’t used Jazmine since then, we’ll give you a full refund for the last month.
  • If you tried Jazmine for a couple of months, and you just weren’t happy with it, you can have your money back.
